We believe the growth opportunity available in windshield repair is outstanding. Considering that nearly 1700 P & C insurance companies have aggressively endorsed the service and that the average growth of windshield replacements over the past decade has risen at a rate of 25% per year, you could argue a minimum of 25% for windshield repair also. In 1990, only 500,000 windshield repair claims were paid for by the insurance companies. Last year over 3,000,000 windshield repair claims were paid and the industry is estimating this number will increase to at least 3.7 million in this year. It is reasonable to assume that if the service were more accessible to the general public (as the oil change industry is) then the number of claims will rise proportionately.
